Exploring restaurants is fun but finding restaurants that serve complete entrees, dinners or desserts that are fat-free and low in salt and sugar is very cumbersome and often disappointing.

Restaurants in the NE I am exploring.

Do they serve Esselstyn Diet-compliant Meals?

Brunch Served

Unfortunately, Sunday brunch offers only a limited menu, so that my fat-free diet could not be directly addressed. The only option available was a small house salad ($5.00) and a side order of steamed broccoli ($ 5.00). So I ended up with two salads and the broccoli. Luckily, this time I brought my emergency kit and could supply my own crisp bread and fat-free dressing. Then, one of the founders and owner Selma Miriam joint our table and revealed her fat-free house-made caraway sourdough bread which was delicious. She promised if I would call a few days ahead she could prepare a great fat-free dinner. Selma was very aware of the Esselstyn diet but they do not address it in their daily dinner menu.
